1. Sourcing a Club
Whether it is a player's first professional contract, or a player looking to change club, then we can assist. We have strong links with clubs in the Aviva Premiership, English Championship, Rabodirect Pro 12, France,Japan & Super 15. Scrum Sport work closely with their clients to open negotiations with suitable clubs at all stages of a player's career or even during a coaching career.

2. Contract Negotiation
Negotiating a contract is one of the most important aspects of what Scrum Sport do. A player's contract is the single most important document in a player's career. In addition, one of the most common statements made by players is the difficultly they find in assessing and achieving their market value. Not only do we strive to obtain the best financial package available, but we also assist in negotiating bonus schemes, and other clauses favourable to a player. We also provide specific advice on the legalities of any such contracts and offer the services of trained and experienced contract lawyers who will advice you at all stages of the negotiation process. Negotiation skills are essential and our record stands strong amongst all of our players. We perform extensive research into prior year contracts, the current market value of players and salary caps for each organisation. With the expertise of our experienced staff, we are able to structure contracts that not only meet the financial needs of our players, but also minimise the tax burden that accompanies the contract.

3. Career Advice
Scrum Sport work with current and former professionals who act as mentors to our players. Our clients know that they can call upon the advice of former players and coaches at all stages of their career in order to assist and advice them on specific matters. We also work closely with other professional advisers to make sure that players can receive sound financial, accountancy and other similar advice throughout their careers. We get to know each of our players individually and make efforts to watch their games whenever possible and to have regular review meetings throughout the season.

4. Post-Career Advice
Scrum Sport work closely with players after their playing careers have ended. Such assistance can include advice on disputes with former clubs, future employment opportunities and other sources of potential income. We do not end ties with our players just because their careers have ended.
